The 10 Best Breakfast Spots in Chelan County

Nestled in the tourist towns of North Central Washington is Chelan County. Home to the iconic towns of Leavenworth and Chelan. We identified ten restaurants that offer great food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Yelp provided the ratings, and we required that these locations have some morning hours. A lunch-and-dinner location won't appear on this list. Buckle up. Here we go.

10 - 59er Diner (Coles Corner) 15361 US Hwy 2

Guy Fieri featured them on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and has long been a fan of their fried mozzarella sticks.

9 - Take A Break Cafe 8620 Frontage Rd Ste 0 Dryden

Best breakfast in the area ! Friendly staff and a local feel . You need to order their sausages they are tasty and you can always expect to get your hash browns crispy! -Howard J.

8 - Old Mill Cafe (Plain) 18640 Beaver Valley Rd Leavenworth

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. I loved the 'dad joke wall' and the tidbits of history on the tables throughout the establishment. The food was amazing. I got a morning sandwich with bacon on a bagel, my husband got the skillet scramble with the brisket. Just do yourself a favor and go. The staff is phenomenal, very helpful and will give suggestions if you are unsure of what to order. -Samantha K.

Went to try this little spot out for a birthday breakfast. Delicious food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Everyone was thrilled with their order. 100% recommend giving them a try. -Sheri R.

6 - Wild Huckleberry 302 S Mission St Wenatchee

The Wild Huckleberry seriously looks like a Hallmark movie set -- instantly in a good mood the second you walk in. Portions here are HUGE so come hungry (or bring a friend to share ). Such a perfect stop if you're craving good energy, a cozy breakfast, or you're on a road trip and need a fun lil pick-me-up spot. Food comes out fast, staff is sweet, and the vibe? 5 - Squirrel Tree Restaurant & Bar (Coles Corner) 15251 US Hwy 2 Leavenworth

The food was absolutely delicious and service just as wonderful! Thank you, we really enjoyed our food, kids loved the Cheese Omelette and we loved the Eggs Benedict! This restaurant is a must try! Much love ! -Anna S.

4 - Blueberry Hills Farms 1315 Washington St Manson

My wife and I had breakfast at Blueberry Hills and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food and atmosphere were great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We both ordered ala carte eggs and bacon and a blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious and we will eat there again when in the area. -Chuck W.

3 - Bear Bear 923 Commercial St Leavenworth

After contemplating what to eat (everything looked so good!) we ordered and enjoyed-Chicken and waffles- wow! What an amazing dish! The real Maple and caramel syrup really made the dish! Eggs Benny with bacon- loved this dish and the scratch hollindaise. We had a wonderful breakfast and we will definitely visit Bear Bear again when we return to the area! -Nicole Y.

 

2 - Acre & Bay Eatery 45 Wapato Way Manson

…Ambiance is comfortable warm and spacious. Staff above friendly and very helpful. The menu is limited to a half dozen items but all made from fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the French toast while my wife had the Quiche Lorraine. Both excellent choices. -Gilbert A.
