Based on 14 years of population growth, Fish and Wildlife concluded that the species no longer meets the threat of extinction, or the state definition for a threatened species.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife says the upgrades will include new shooting benches and sheds, improved drainage and an improved pistol range backstop.
