A 70-year-old woman had a medical emergency in parking lot

KPD says the driver hit the hydrant, sending it flying down the street.

The driver tried to elude officers by speeding up to 100 MPH

It is not yet known if road conditions or speed were a factor

Deputies arrived at Coulee Meadows Road in the Rimrock Meadows area to find one car off the roadway.
